What we collect, and what we don’t.
Acquainted is a small consultancy and this site is a brochure, not a product. We collect as little as we can and explain the rest plainly.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so opening a page does not send your data to Google, Squarespace or any other third party. If we turn on analytics in future we will ask first, with the banner at the foot of the page, and you can change your answer at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.
Analytics
If you allow analytics, we use a privacy-focused service that counts page views and referrers without cookies, without fingerprinting and without following you to other sites. We see which pages are read and roughly where in the world readers are; we do not see who you are.
Getting in touch
Every “Book a working session” link opens your own email client addressed to elliot@acquainted.studio. Nothing is submitted through this site. What you write to us is used to reply to you and to prepare for a conversation you have asked for, and is kept in our email for as long as we are talking, then for our records as a business.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to our using it. Email elliot@acquainted.studio and we will answer within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
