AI Strategy

The real AI bottleneck isn’t models — it’s direction.

Every company has AI ideas. Few have a plan. Closing the gap between ambition and adoption is a leadership question before it is a technology one.

Direction that turns AI from confusion into capability.

Acquainted helps leaders cut through noise, set a clear path, and build AI into the structure of the business — safely, sensibly, and at speed.

The question isn’t which model to choose. It’s how intelligence should flow through your organisation, which decisions and workflows it should reach first, and what has to be true in your data, your governance and your people before agents can be trusted with real work.

No hype. No jargon. Just direction that turns AI from confusion into capability.

When you need this.

The board is asking and nobody owns the answer

Everyone agrees AI matters, several teams are experimenting, and there is no single view of what the organisation is actually trying to do. We give leadership one plan and one owner.

Pilots are multiplying and nothing is joining up

Each function has its own proof of concept, each with its own vendor, and none of them change how the business runs. A strategy decides which to scale, which to stop and how they fit together.

Risk is blocking everything

Legal, security and compliance have said no often enough that people have stopped asking. We set guardrails with them so that the safe path is also the fast one.

You’re about to spend serious money

A platform decision, a large vendor contract or a hiring plan is on the table and it will shape the next three years. We make sure it is made for the direction you actually want to travel in.

What the work covers.

Where intelligence should flow

A map of the organisation’s decisions and workflows, and an honest view of where agentic systems would change the economics and where they would merely be interesting.

The path from ambition to adoption

A sequenced roadmap with ownership attached, so that the first systems teach the organisation what it needs to know for the next ones rather than sitting in isolation.

The conditions for trust

Data, governance, standards and skills, defined before anything is built, so that when agents are given real work the organisation is ready to rely on them.

A plan the business can follow.

What do we actually get at the end?
A map of where intelligence should flow through the organisation, a sequenced roadmap with owners attached, and a governance model and set of standards written for the board. It is a document you own and can hand to anyone, including a different builder.
Who needs to be in the room?
The people who own the decisions the roadmap will touch: usually the CEO or COO, whoever runs technology and data, and a voice from risk or legal. It fails when it is delegated two levels down, so we ask for senior time and use very little of it.
Are you neutral on vendors and models?
Yes. We have no reseller agreements and no preferred platform. Recommendations are made against your data, your constraints and your people, and the model is treated as a component you will swap, not a bet you are making.
Is this just another slide deck?
It is a decision, written down. The roadmap names what moves first, who owns it and what has to be true before it can be trusted, and most clients carry it straight into Agentic OS, where the same team builds against it.
What comes next

Strategy on its own is a document. Then we build on it.

Most clients carry the roadmap straight into Agentic OS, where the same team turns the direction into systems that plan, act and close the loop inside the business, so nothing is lost in the hand-off.
